The Factory Beta/Stillwell Performance race team traveled to the scenic Tennessee hills for the second annual Kenda TKO (Tennessee Knock Out) Extreme Enduro. The conditions were much different than last year as recent rains made for a wet event. The TKO event was held at the famous Trials Training Center and is unique as riders are knocked out of each morning qualifier if they do not make the cut. This all makes for a final race with only the top riders advancing.

Beta racer Cody Webb put his Beta 350RR on the podium with a solid second place finish after leading the race early on. The Californian was the fastest rider in the morning Hot Laps by a full ten seconds. Webb also won the Knock Out round in the morning.

Webb describes the race. "Once again the TKO proved to be a physically demanding race. I Rode great all through qualifying with little issues. The bike and suspension setup was perfect all day. In the main event I got the holeshot and was focusing on being consistent and mistake free. Unfortunately I made a big mistake the first lap and fell to third. Tried my best to battle back into lead, but physically overheated and had to settle for second. Overall I was happy with my result. I would like to say Thank You to all my sponsors."

Beta rider Max Gerston found the conditions equally difficult. The Arizona racer was in contention to transfer when his aftermarket clutch failed putting and end to his race.

“TKO was nothing less then what I expected. Super gnarly, super slippery, and rocky. I was riding well all day with no mistakes, and in qualifying position for the final, when I had an unfortunate mechanical in the toughest part of the course which put me out of contention. All in all I had a great time on my Beta 350RR and I will be ready to go for the Ontario Enduro Cross in two weeks.” Gerston explains.

3-Seas Race Report

3 Seas Recreation had an excellent weekend of competition in both Trials and Hare Scramble Racing! Drew Fortner did an amazing job at the trials event where he entered the expert class aboard a 2012 Beta EVO 125 and was able to win the overall by 8 touches over the other 40 riders competing! On the hare scramble side of racing Mark Fortner once again put his Beta 350 RR on the podium with a 2nd overall and as long as he keeps his bike on two wheels for the rest of the series looks to have the WNYOA AA championship wrapped up! Jared Anzalone earned himself his first ever win in Open B and felt comfortable on his Beta 350 RR the whole race!
